Jan Dvorak is the Co-founder of Sport in Art. The other two Co-founders of the sports marketing agency are Marek Tesar and Petr Lesek. “Sport in Art” is one of the platforms to showcase various sports-based art to the world and inspire sports-based artists in their work. The “sport in art” platform has two more pillars. The Sport in Art project publishes an award-winning print magazine in their home country, four times a year a 140-page journal. The Journal recently won the Red Dot Award in Berlin.
Jan Dvorak’s journey from triathlon to cycling:
Jan Dvorak loved cycling since he was a child, and his cycling journey began with triathlon. Talking about his cycling, Jan Dvorak says that- “I first joined triathlon, as a marketer. I worked in advertising and branding for years. I was fascinated by the Ironman brand, one day I realized that if I wasn't wearing an Ironman T-shirt, I shouldn't be wearing it. When asked what cycling has given Jan Dvorak, Jan Dvorak readily says that “freedom and speed, then comes friendship and fun”. When he arrives at a business meeting by bike, he jokes that, “it's hard to hide a suit under a jersey”.
